Michael has served as an interim pastor, the planting pastor at a young vibrant church in Alberta and the senior associate at a multi staff in Saskatoon. Michael brings a different perspective to church ministry. He brings his flavour as a retired touring punk drummer mixed with his firm understanding of theology to the pulpit. As a result his messages are often comical and easily applicable to your everyday life. Michael is currently finishing a Master’s degree in Leadership and has a Bachelor’s of Theology. Michael is ordained with the PAOC but has friendships that cross multiple denominations.
If you are ever with him at a worship gathering, reading an article he wrote or just sitting down for a coffee, you will notice an immediate love for people and sensitivity to God. Michael has spoken to churches, schools and colleges extensively throughout North American and Europe.
Michael is married to Amberley, who is hands on in seeing the kingdom of God transform lives. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and also has a theology degree. She is ordained with the PAOC. An energetic and engaging communicator, she also brings to the table expertise in worship leading and a strong grasp of church organizational function.
Michael and Amberley have two energetic kids and live a very full life, anyone can see that they make the most of whatever opportunity is in front of them.
