Michael:
Day three is 3 blankets that were living their best lives in a downstairs closet. Our house has heat, we don’t need 4000 blankets keeping each other warm.
Amberley:
This was a hard one for me. I find it difficult to get rid of things that are “useful”, even if they are not serving a purpose currently. We need blankets. Blankets are useful. One of the blankets was made for one of my chidden (I can’t remember which one) by someone (I can’t remember who). Another was my Snuggie – you know the blanket with arms. I never use my Snuggie. But, it’s useful. Then I feel that useful things should go on to have a further useful life . Like go to the SPCA to comfort stray cats having kittens. But I’m never going to bring them there, let’s be honest. Good bye blankets. Thank you for your service.
Michael:
For the record, we don’t believe blankets have souls… they are just stupid blankets and I don’t care what their new life is, as long as it’s not in my house.
Amberley:
For the record, I don’t presume to know what God has ordained to have a soul and what He has not.
